![]() ![]() The character skin would be nice but that's the level 21 prize so I'm filing that under "zero chance". I don't really see most of the prizes as being all that interesting anyway, actually. ![]() That's going to be my cutoff and I just don't see it as being worth the effort for me personally beyond that point. In the time remaining in season 2, I don't reasonably expect to be able to (or I don't think I'm going to want to bother with) push enough points to go any farther than the dungeon's level 7 prize. How far I can get each time varies a bit with each different dungeon formation, of course, but I've generally been getting up to somewhere between 1e850 to 1e950 DPS (still depends on Tiernan to be able to do anything like that, unfortunately) and areas somewhere around the 4200s or higher, and that amount of season 2 dungeon progress has been getting me something like 2000 points (so without the buff that's been active recently that'd be something closer to 1000 points) and 17 coins from each run (give or take a bit). I have run multiple dungeon runs this last week since this buff started. Hitting my 1e600 cap elsewhere in the game has been a regular occurrence for me lately. #Crusaders of the lost idols forum free#In season 2 (currently in progress) they altered the payout rates for the dungeon points and coins to start earlier and to scale up at a better rate but I didn't actually attempt a run until a week or two ago when they gave us all a free buff for double dungeon points. ![]() There was zero hope at that kind of pace at being able to reach even the dungeon's level 1 prize with any reasonable amount of time and effort invested into it. I never bothered with another dungeon run through the entire rest of season 1. I followed some tips for an annoying but effective different formation to try out (I hate this trick with Tiernan and gold-o-rama) and pushed something like 1e730 or so DPS and up to an area somewhere around 3400-3500, and that number of areas in a season 1 dungeon got me a measly 21 or so dungeon points + 8 dungeon coins. Oh, looks like I didn't make note of my idols when I commented on this in the topic the devs started for it when they released it.īut at the time I had not yet reached a point where my 1e600 DPS number cap outside of dungeons was a thing that I had ever actually hit (or gotten anywhere close to) yet. Still, just having access to the dungeon doesn't immediately mean that it'll be the least bit worthwhile to actually go there. And seeing it mentioned here I was asking "wait, which objective was that? I don't even remember what it was or what was so difficult about it." I think i'd already passed that objective before the dungeon was added? I didn't realize that there had been a barrier to entry there. ![]()

![]() ![]() These changes resulted from Project ’97, a collaboration between the developers of the NEHRP Provisions (i.e., the Building Seismic Safety Council, BSSC, with funding from the Federal Emergency Management Agency, FEMA) and the USGS. The new maps became more directly based on the USGS National Seismic Hazard Maps. These parameters are more closely related to the seismic response of structures. In the 1997 edition of the NEHRP Provisions, the seismic design maps changed to the short-period and 1-second spectral response acceleration parameters, S S and S 1. In turn, these seismic design maps were loosely based – with truncations, modifications, and approximations – on a USGS peak ground acceleration (PGA) fully probabilistic hazard map published in 1976. All of these maps were based – with some modifications, updates, and simplifications – on the A a and A v maps first introduced in the 1978 Tentative Provisions for the Development of Seismic Regulations for Buildings, also known as ATC 3-06. Even the seismic zone map in the UBC (1994 edition), shown in Figure 1, was derived from an A v map. Such maps were also used by two of the three model building codes of the time, the National Building Code (1993 edition) and the Standard Building Code (1994 edition). Changes to Seismic Design Maps in Model Building Codesīefore the Northridge earthquake, the NEHRP Provisions (1994 and preceding editions) provided maps of effective peak acceleration, A a, and effective peak velocity-related acceleration, A v. Geological Survey (USGS) National Seismic Hazard Maps. As described below, the changes to the NEHRP maps took advantage of another post-Northridge change: the modern generation of U.S. The NEHRP maps were – and continue to be – adopted into the International Building Code (IBC), which supplanted the UBC and other model building codes. More enduringly, generational changes were made to the seismic design maps in the NEHRP Recommended Seismic Provisions for New Buildings and Other Structures. The factors increased the design forces in Zone 4, already the highest seismic zone, by a multiplier as large as 2.0. From the 1994 to 1997 editions, acceleration- and velocity-related near-source factors were introduced. ![]() Consequently, the near-source design forces from the seismic zone maps in the Uniform Building Code (UBC) were increased. Both measurements were within approximately 15 km of the source of the earthquake they were also near most of the damage described in other articles of this series.
